Lenovo A760 is a Dual SIM and Dual Standby smartphone

Display and configuration:

Lenovo A760 comes with a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels capable of showing 16 million colours. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor MTK6589 ARMv7 Cortex-A7 along with a PowerVR SGX544MP GPU augmented by 1GB of RAM. The device runs on Androids JellyBean OS v4.1 .

Camera and storage

Lenovo has packed in a decent 5MP camera which clicks shoots at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 Pixels. Although the camera is good, compared to today’s standards, it is quite lacking, also the absence of a front facing camera might put off a few customers. Internal storage for apps is limited to 4GB and it can be expanded up to 32GB to store all the user’s media.

Connectivity and Battery

The phone comes packed with dual 3G SIM card slots with HSDPA for super-fast internet; along with this it also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity. The battery is a modest 2000 mAH which is claimed to give a talktime of about 5 hours.

Verdict: With smartphones getting smarter these days, lenovo is also trying to get in the fray with the A760, packing in a powerful hardware, but the major thing that goes against it is the UI which is just too childish to use, and also with a hefty price tag, you might think considering other options.
