HP Slate 7 runs on Android OS, v4.1 (Jelly Bean)

HP has announced the Slate 7 Tablet which comes with 7 inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with High-aperture-ratio Field Fringe Switching (HFFS) panel with wide viewing angles.  It has a stainless-steel frame and comes in soft black paint back in gray or red colors.

The newly launched TouchWiz smartphone houses an Android OS, v4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by 1.6 GHz Dual Core Cortex-A9 processor and comes with built-in Beats Audio support.The smartphone is 10.7 mm thick and weighs around 368 grams (with battery). HP Slate 7 is equipped with 3 Megapixel rear camera (2048X1536 pixels), 0.3MP VGA front-facing camera of 640X480 pixels, microSD, upto 32 GB expandable memory.

Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. It does support 3G with Video calling support, HDMI, GPS Support, and Audio Jack 3.5 mm. It does not support A2DP and infrared. It has HP ePrint application that lets you print on the go directly from most applications.
