Samsung Galaxy J is rumoured to be made of is enough to catch people’s attention. A smartphone with a metal frame will be such a deviation from Samsung’s notorious embrace of all things plastic that it will warrant a closer look when the time comes for it to be revealed. Visit here for the  

The new information confirms the all-metal body, adding that Samsung will launch its first F-Series device soon after the Galaxy S5 is unveiled. We’re hoping that this new phone won’t affect the S5′s specs which should include all the latest bells and whistles, including the fastest chip available at that moment, 2K screen, 4GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel camera on the back.

 As for the Galaxy F, we’re not sure what else it could add to the mix. Presuming it launches few months after Galaxy S5, it could get an even faster processor, which may also find its way to the also upcoming Note 4.

Samsung Galaxy Core LTE is a touch bar phone which supports GSM network. It operates at frequency of Quad-band GSM 850 /900 /1800 /1900 MHz. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box with no word on where it will receive an Android 4.4 KitKat update. The smartphone's screen size and quality, as compared to its first-gen Galaxy Core handset, is bumped up from 4.3-inch display with WVGA resolution to 4.5-inch PLS display with qHD resolution of 540x960 pixels translating to a pixel density of 245PPI. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Dual-Core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. On the memory front this smartphone has an 8GB ROM and allows memory expansion by up to 64GB.

Galaxy Core LTE dimensions are 132.9 x 66.3 x 9.8 mm. It has come with rechargeable Non-removable Li-Ion 2,100mAH battery with good stand by time and talk time. The cameras on this device remain unchanged and come with the same resolution as its predecessors. There is a 5MP rear snapper for photography and a VGA resolution front facing camera for video calling.

Other Features

The handset, besides LTE connectivity, will also support, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and NFC. The Galaxy Core LTE will be backed by a 2,100mAh battery and will be available in Black and White. The device will also feature Samsung's Motion UI, Google+, Google Talk, Google Maps and the firm's native ChatOn messaging service. The connectivity department on this device is pretty upgraded as it comes with 4G LTE on board, meaning user get to connect to internet using 4th Generation connectivity along with support for 3G(WCDMA), Edge and GPRS (2G network).

The Samsung Galaxy Mega Plus is an updated version of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8. It sports the same 5.8-inch TFT display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The extra-large phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1.5GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega Plus carries the regular Galaxy series design, and comes with one physical and two capacitive buttons below the display. At 183.5 grams, we can’t term the device as lightweight, but it looks sleek at 8.9mm.

Camera and storage

The Samsung Galaxy Mega Plus offers an 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, and a 1.9MP front camera. The rear camera can click still images of up to 3,264 x 2,448 Pixels and the front camera can output a max of 1592 x 1192 Pixels. The Galaxy Mega packs in an internal storage of 8GB, which can be expanded via the microSD card slot available.

The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios offers a 2MP rear camera but lacks a front shooter. The camera also lacks an LED flash. It can click stills of up to 1,600 x 1,200 pixel resolution and videos of up to 640 x 480 pixels. It comes with an internal memory of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.

The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios is a triple SIM (GSM + GSM + GSM) mobile phone. Other connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB port. It has been fuelled by 1,300mAh battery.

Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios is made for people who travel a lot and carry multiple SIM cards. However, for the sake of triple SIM, you need compromise on some core features front camera, LED flash etc. A mediocre processor also limits you from playing high-end games on this device.
