The Lenovo A316i features a beautiful 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor built on the MTK6572 chipset from MediaTek paired with 512MB of RAM. It poses multi-touch screen with a moderate pixel density of 233 ppi and ensures rich graphics with the help of Mali 400 MP1 GPU functioning at 500 MHz.

Coming to the camera optics, the device has a single 2MP rear facing digital camera on board which means that the user won't be able to video chat. The in-built storage capacity of Lenovo A316i is 4GB which is upgradable to 32GB courtesy the presence of a microSD slot.

The Lenovo A316i is a good combination of beauty, power and affordability. The 512MB RAM does not sound good but the device has a powerful processor and a decent GPU. Though Lenovo promises to provide a sound power supply, the poor strength of the battery won't enable you to stay mobile even for a day. The absence of front camera in a smartphone is another cause of concern.
