Lenovo has ignored the idea of phablets and included a 4.5-inch capacitive multi touchscreen in the A526. The WVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display is embedded with 16M colors and a pixel density of 218 ppi. It runs Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor based on MT6582M chipset. A 1GB of RAM offers a quick and lag free performance.

The Lenovo A526 sports a 5MP camera with a resolution of 2,592 x 1,944 pixels at the rear end along with a VGA front shooter on board. It has inbuilt memory capacity of 4GB which is expandable up to 32GB.
