Nokia Asha 302 with Wi-fi

The Nokia Asha 302 is one of Nokia's newest feature phones, created for the manufacturer's numerous customers in the developing countries. This is a field where Nokia is traditionally very powerful, as its Series 40 platform offers an affordable, yet feature-rich handset experience. With a 1GHz chip, HSPA and Wi-Fi on board, Nokia has given the Asha 302 everything it withheld from the 201. In addition to Microsoft Exchange-based email accounts, the 302 can hook into your personal email. Supported accounts include Ovi Mail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Windows Live Hotmail, BT Internet and Virgin Media.
On the back of the 302, Nokia has stuck a 3.2-megapixel camera (without a flash), which is a smidgen better than the Asha 201's 2-megapixel lens. The phone has three on the top edge: Nokia's proprietary charger port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-USB port, which can be used for moving content to and from the phone by plugging it into a PC. Nokia has added a handy microSD card slot to expand storage space.

The Nokia Asha 302's lack of a touchscreen is a huge usability constraint, while the Series 40 software is fiddly and flaky. The keys of the physical QWERTY keyboard react decently to the touch. In addition to the 3.5mm headset jack, there are separate charging and microUSB ports, although the microUSB one can be used to charge the phone as well. The screen of the Nokia Asha 302 measures 2.4 inches, and has a resolution of 320x240 pixels. It's not the sharpest-looking panel we’ve not seen, nor is it worst one. Outdoor visibility is so-so, while the viewing angles leave much to be deserved. Still, in a handset of this class, the 2.4” screen of the Asha 302 is more than enough.
Finally, The Nokia Asha 302 is cheap but it won't win over anyone who's already converted to the Android operating system. The lack of a touchscreen is a huge constraint, while its Series 40 software is far more fiddly and flaky than Google's OS.
In India, Nokia Asha 302 price is Rs.5785 from Sulekha mobiles.
