Acer Iconia Tab W500 runs on Microsoft Windows 7

Acer Iconia W500 is a new 10.1-inch tablet which has TFT-LCD capacitive multitouch screen with 1280X800 resolutions. It runs on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit OS.  It houses an AMD 1GHz C-Series Processor C-50. The tablet boasts dimension of 274x193x15 MM and weighs about 970 grams.

Connectivity options on the Acer Iconia W500 include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and Micro-USB. It does not support Edge, GPRS and Infrared. 1.3 megapixel rear camera with 1280X1024 Pixel is thrown-in for good measure with 1.3 MP front camera that is capable of 1080p HD Video Recording. It also features 2 GB DDR3 built-in storage expandable to 32GB via a microSD card and supports Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP. It also has AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics card.

There are just two other connections on the tablet – a 3.5mm headphone jack up top and a microUSB charger socket on the right edge. It throws in a keyboard dock that also extends connectivity and battery life up to 5 hours 8 minutes. It also features stereo speakers and combo headphone.
