Pantel T-pad IS801C runs on Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)

BSNL has announced a new brand mobile called Pantel T-pad IS801C. Pantel T-Pad IS801C also known as Penta T-Pad IS803C with BSNL is a touch bar phone which features a larger 8.0 inches display with G-sensor, but it is powered by a HD capacitive multitouch screen with low resolution of 1024X768 pixels. It is running Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is available in black and White in colour.

It has Cortex-A8, 1.2 GHz Processor makes its application running very fast. It has come with internal memory of 8 GB, 1 GB DDR3 RAM and expandable up to 32GB external memory with microSD and T-flash card. This features 0.3MP front VGA camera with 640X480 pixels for video calls and digital zoom, with video player helps capture the best moments. 

It has connectivity is Wi-Fi, 802.11 b/g/n, and Wi-Fi hotspot. The phone has Micro-USB 2.0 and Full USB Port, HDMI, Reset and Charging Ports. It does not support GRPS, Bluetooth, EDGE and infra-red. It has come with rechargeable Non-removable Li-Ion 5600 mAH battery with good stand by time and talk time up to 8 hours.

There are many apps preloaded in the handset and it is possible to download more from the Android market. The phone also comes with a lot of high end features to provide value to users. There is an HDMI port on the side which would come in handy for those that want to feed video somewhere. There are just two other connections on the tablet – a 3.5mm headphone jack up top and a microUSB charger socket on the bottom.
