Karbonn recently unveiled its new tablet called Karbonn A4
in the Indian Market. Karbonn
A4 is a touch bar phone with dual
SIM dual standby (GSM + GSM) which features a larger 4-inches with 3D
G-sensor but it is powered by a HVGA capacitive multitouch screen with low
resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It is running on Android OS, v2.3.6
(Gingerbread).
The phone operates at frequencies of GSM 900 / 1800 MHz |
GSM 900 / 1800 MHz. This features 3.2MP camera with 2048X1536 Pixels with pinch-to-zoom,
face detection and digital zoom, with video player helps capture the best
moments. It also has front facing camera with 640X480 pixels for video calls.
It has 1 GHz Processor makes its application running very
fast. It has come with internal memory of 104 MB, 512 MB ROM, 256 MB RAM and
expandable up to 32GB external memory with microSD. It is available in black in
colour. It has connectivity is Wi-Fi, 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Wi-Fi hotspot. The
phone has Micro-USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP feature of the phone
facilitates data sharing between compatible devices and its GPRS with WAP
Browser 2.0 enables internet connectivity. It does not support infra-red and
has come with rechargeable Non-removable Li-Ion 1400 mAH battery with good
stand by time and talk time.
There are many apps preloaded in the handset and it is
possible to download more from the Android market. The phone also comes with a
lot of high end features to provide value to users. There is an HDMI port on
the side which would come in handy for those that want to feed video somewhere.
There are just two other connections on the tablet – a 3.5mm headphone jack up
top and a microUSB charger socket on the bottom.
