HTC has announced the Desire 7088, a new Android smartphone
in the desire range. It is the latest entry-level addition to HTC's Desire
series with lots of extensive features.

The HTC Desire 7088
comes with the same 5-inch qHD
(960 x 540 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 SoC which is
based on the ARM Cortex A5 CPU architecture, with the Adreno 203 GPU. You get 1 GB of RAM, 8
megapixel rear and 2.1 megapixel front cameras, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with
Sense 5 UI on top. You also get 8 GB of expandable storage.
Connectivity and
Battery
The device possesses good connectivity options, including
3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS (with A-GPS) support and microUSB connectivity. A
decent 2100 mAh Li-ion battery provides good standby time and talk time.
Verdict: HTC is known for releasing handsets that are
good on all fronts. The Desire 7088 in design wise, the Desire 7088 closely
resembles the HTC One, but in reality is a massively trimmed down version of
the flagship. There’s also HTC’s trademark Boom
