Samsung has released a new mid-range model Samsung Galaxy Trend lite which is an Android based smartphone that comes with a range of features. Design and Specifications:

Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite is the cut down version of Galaxy Trend and will sport a 4" WVGA (480 * 800 pixels) screen. Unlike Galaxy Trend, this phone will be a single SIM version. Though this is a cut-down version of Galaxy Trend, one advantage it will have over the former is, it will run the latest version of Android - Jellybean 4.1. The phone is powered with a 1GHz of processor from some unannounced brand.

Camera and Multimedia

Galaxy Trend Lite sports a meagre 3 Mega Pixel camera on the rear without flashlight. Since this is an entry level device, it doesn't come with a front facing camera. Coming to the multimedia capability of the phone, it'll be able to support the major audio and video formats including MP3, MP4, AVI, etc.

Galaxy Trend Lite comes with all the primary connectivity options - EDGE, 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth and Micro USB port for transferring data and charging the device.

Galaxy Trend Lite has a 1500 mAh removable battery. The phone has 4 GB of internal storage out of which, approximately 2 GB of storage is available for users and it could be further expanded upto 32 GB using micro SD cards.
