Display

LG G3 features a massive 5.5-inch quad HD display, LG claims to have integrated a 2k resolution that is 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, in the G3. This essentially means, it has twice the number of pixels than a standard full HD display and an extremely high pixel density of over 500ppi. 

Configuration and OS

The G3 will feature a 2.2GHz true octa-core processor, which unlike the Galaxy S4, does not comprise of 2 quad core processor, but rather a single processor with eight cores. LG has developed this by itself codenamed the ODIN, and is keeping the technical specs under wraps. It will have 3GB of RAM and almost 500MB of GPU to bolster its claim as a laptop replacement. 

It is will sport Android’s latest operating system, the KItKat 4.4.

Camera and storage

LG has installed a massive 16MP camera sensor in the G3, in direct competition to the flagship models of other smartphone makers. The front camera at 5MP will also support 720P video recording along with the Full HD recording in the rear cam. On board storage will be limited to 64GB, and LG is mulling to introduce an option of having 128GB on board storage to save the massive 2K resolution videos. 

Connectivity

The G3 features the latest in connectivity options, including 4G network with NFC, allowing data transfer rates in excess 21mbps. Along with this, it features Bluetooth 4.0, USB, HDMI output, and GPS.

Verdict: The LG G3 is definitely the Magnum opus of the company, and it has huge expectations from it. Featuring almost the maximum that is possible in hardware today, along with the latest software, The G3 is definitely a strong contender if you are looking for the absolute best and don’t want to compromise in any way.
