Nokia Lumia 630 is a mid-range smartphone

Hardware and Specifications

The Lumia 630, as mentioned earlier will be dual-SIM entry level smartphone based on Windows operating system. The phone may have a dual-core processor and at least 1 GB of RAM alongside about 4-8 GB of internal memory and may support expansion of memory using micro-SD card.

Screen and Design

The screen on the Lumia 630 may be a 4.5" IPS LCD with capacitive touchscreen and at least QHD (540x960 pixels) resolution. Another important change in this phone is that, unlike other Lumia devices, it will have on-screen home, back & menu buttons. When it comes to the overall design, undoubtedly the phone will inherit looks from other Lumia devices sporting curved edges and polycarbonate body.

Software and Features

Since the launch of Windows 8.1 is round the corner, we speculate that the Lumia 630 may be shipped with this version out of the box. Apart from that, being a smartphone, the phone will also come shipped with common apps and software features including Nokia Here, Nokia Maps, etc.

Camera and Multimedia

The primary camera on the device could be somewhere between 5 and 8 MP accompanied with an LED flash. It may also have a secondary VGA or 1.3 MP camera that could be used for video calling and snapping selfies. When it comes to the multimedia capabilities of the device, it should be able to support playback of all the common multimedia formats including, but not limited to, MP3, MP4, WAV, AAC, AVI, etc.

Battery and Connectivity

Since the phone sports 4" screen and is powered with dual-core processor, the battery on the device could be somewhere between 1800 & 2200 mAh capacity. Other connectivity featueres of the device should ideally include GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & USB.
