Display and
Configuration
The much-awaited iPhone 5S
comes with a stunning 4 inches of LED-backlit LCD display, which has a
resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels and 16M colour depth. Add to it a pixel density
of 326ppi (retina display) and one gets the perfect combination for a
mesmerizing visual experience. Below the sleek exterior of the iPhone 5S, Apple
has included its A7 processor, making the iPhone 5S the first smartphone in the
world to have a 64-bit processor. Working alongside the A7 is the M7 motion
processor, which keeps track and processes information from the various sensors
of the device.
Camera and Storage
Apple has provided the iPhone 5S with an 8MP iSight rear
camera having TrueTone flash and Hybrid IR filter, thus ensuring that it

for both video chatting and clicking 720p HD videos. This model of the 5S comes
with a good 16GB of internal storage, for storing all of one's favorite

is no exception. Coming with the latest 4G LTE technology, it also supports
Bluetooth, NFC and microUSB connectivity. An additional plus is its ability to
stream video to Apple TV (2nd and 3rd Gen only). Another innovation is the
fingerprint identity sensor which has been built into the home button of the
device. The battery on the iPhone 5S is 10% larger than that on the iPhone 5.
Verdict:
Apple has justified the hype surrounding the release of the
iPhone 5S. One look at the features, which include excellent display, stunning
cameras, unbelievable processing power, latest connectivity options and larger battery,
is sufficient to make one realize that this device is miles ahead of the
competition. Not only that, it in fact many never-before-seen features,
including 64-bit processor, fingerprint scanner. It could be called perfect in
every sense, however, only if it sported the more common microSIM, rather than
the nanoSIM. However, it should be remembered that the nanoSIM is again a
futuristic technology. All in all, the features and specifications of the new
iPhone 5S are so dazzling that it stands in a class of its own.
