Micromax's latest handset Micromax Bolt X099I
comes with a decent 1.76 inches of TFT display, having 128 x 160 pixels
resolution for clarity. The device has been provided with a 0.3MP camera which
can click decent images. All of one's favourite multimedia can be stored using
external microSD card, up to a limit of 4GB. SMS storage is 50 and phonebook
storage is also 50.
The device supports Dual SIM, along with GPRS, Bluetooth and
microUSB connectivity. A 900 mAh Li-ion battery provides talk time of up to 4
hours and standby of up to 300 hours.
Verdict: Considering that this device is among the
cheapest handsets available, features like good display, camera support, good
external memory support and decent connectivity options are really not
expected. Micromax needs to be congratulated for being able to include all
these. The company did provide an average battery, but all in all, this device
is the right choice for anyone seeking maximum features in a basic device.
