Display, design and
configuration
The LG
Optimus L1 II Tri is successor to the LG Optimus L1 II and the first triple
sim phone from LG. The device offers a 3.0-inch TFT display with a resolution
of 240 x 320 pixels and runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The phone is powered by
a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7225A CPU along with 512MB of RAM.
The phone comes with the regular Optimus series design,
rectangle with rounded corners. It carries four capacitive buttons below the
display, including one button dedicated to easy SIM switching. The back cover
flaunts a brushed texture design. It weighs 105 grams and is 13.3mm thick.
Camera and storage
The LG Optimus L1 II Tri offers a 2MP rear camera but lacks
a front shooter as well as LED flashes. It can shoot still images of up to
1,600 x 1,200 pixel resolution and videos of up to 640 x 480 pixels at 30fps.
The device houses internal storage 4GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB via
the microSD card slot available.
Connectivity and
battery
The LG Optimus L1 II Tri is a triple SIM (GSM + GSM + GSM)
mobile phone. In addition, it comes with a host of connectivity options
including 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP and USB port. The L1 II Tri
has been fuelled by 1,540mAh battery.
Verdict
The LG Optimus L1 II Tri comes with Triple SIM
compatibility, which is a rare feature in Android smartphones. But that's the
only good thing we can say about the device. On other fronts like camera and
processor, it carries pretty low-end specification. Go for it only if the
triple SIM feature is all you are looking for.
