Micromax has begun this year with a big bash by going global and launching multiple smartphones in the Canvas series. Micromax has also launched the mini variant of the successful model Canvas Turbo. Display and configuration

Micromax’s latest mid-range smartphone, dubbed as the Canvas Turbo Mini A200 sports a 4.7-inch TFT LCD display with Corning gorilla glass 2, and a display resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The screen is ideal in size and fits comfortably in the hands of most of users. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, augmented with 1GB of RAM to run almost all the applications from Google Play on its Jelly Bean v4.2.2 OS.

Storage and camera

As with most Micromax smartphones, the A200 will also sport just 4GB on board memory, but it  can be bumped up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone comes with dual front and rear cameras, with an 8MP sensor in the rear and a massive 5MP sensor in the front. Micromax is betting heavily on the camera and assures that even with a 8MP sensor, it can take amazing pictures.

Connectivity and battery

The A200 is a dual sim phone with one 3G sim slot and one 2G slot. 3G speeds are HSDPA which can give very high speeds. Apart from this, the phone also comes with GPS, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. All this is powered by a 1,800mAh battery which can keep it powered up all day with ease.

The Micromax A200 is an aesthetically pleasing mobile which comes with curved body and sleek design, allowing it to easily fit in the palm of users. This, coupled with the powerful internal hardware, makes the Micromax A200 an excellent mid-range smartphone. This is one to keep an eye out for.
