Design and platform
Nokia has
always provided quality products at affordable prices, and the Nokia Normandy
continues the legacy. The Nokia Normandy (aka Nokia X) sports 4-inch LCD 16M color
capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 854 pixel resolution. It is reported to
arrive in various colors including black, white and red. The Nokia X is a dual
SIM smartphone with dual standby option. The phone will come pre-loaded with
the latest Android v4.4 KitKat OS.
Processor and camera
The smartphone
is equipped with 1GHz dual core Qualcomm 8225Q processor, supported by 512MB of
RAM and Adreno 302 GPU. It features a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and
features like Autofocus and Geo tagging, and a VGA front camera for video
calling over 3G.
Storage and Connectivity
The Normandy
houses 4GB of built-in storage, which is expandable using a microSD card slot.
The networking and connectivity options are 3G, Wi-Fi, USB port, Bluetooth,
aGPS etc. It is backed by a 1,500mAh li-ion battery.
