especially in the Bolt and Ninja series. Micromax has now launched the Bolt A37B
smartphone in the bolt entry level segment. The device comes with the latest

The Micromax
Bolt A37B sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 320 x 480 pixel
resolution display backed by a 1GHz dual-core MTK6572M processor teamed up with
a 256MB RAM. The OS running the show is Android v4.2 OS (Jelly Bean).
The smartphone has a 2MP rear facing camera with features like touch to
focus, digital zoom and geo-tagging. Although it has a rear internal memory of
512MB, it supports an external memory up to 32GB.
Connectivity features included in the handset are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,
GPRS and microUSB v2.0 port. The 1,450mAh Li-ion battery promises to deliver up
to 5.5 hours of talktime and up to 256 hours of standby life.
Verdict
The Micromax Bolt A37B is an
affordable smartphone with good set of basic features. Running on the Jelly
Bean version of Android, the phone also comes with a great set of connectivity
features including 3G. On the downside, the RAM is pretty low, which might
limit the types of app you can run on the device.
